Employee Relations

The PSP Group provides the following Employee Relations services:
  • We manage hiring processes and issues
  • We provide customized employee handbooks, written in a combined effort between PSP and the employer
  • Orientation - our representative visits the work site and provides an orientation for both employers and employees, to explain how our services affect the employer/employee relationship, and what tangible benefits this newfound relationship will bring.
  • We inform the employee of the employer's internal policies, such as vacation, sick days, and holiday schedule.
  • We manage employee health, 401K, and other benefits, acting as a liaison to handle the processing of these benefits as a separate entity from the employer. We also handle 401K loans on behalf of employees.
  • We act as a middleman if an employee has a sensitive issue or a situation that he or she does not want to discuss directly with the employer. For example, PSP has acted as a liaison in sexual harassment issues. If called upon, PSP will perform an investigation, undertaking tasks such as interviewing the parties involved.
  • We handle termination issues - for example, if an employee feels wrongly terminated, we act as an intermediary to bring the issues to the employer and help them resolve the matter.
  • We provide full COBRA compliance, with a one-on-one relationship with the employee for reinstatement of health benefits and to aid in the processing of claims.
