Workers Compensation
The PSP Group handles all aspects of an organization’s Workers Compensation insurance. We process and administrate all claims that may potentially be filed. If you are injured while performing your job, our Human Resource Department will handle all aspects of your claim and keep you informed about all benefits (if applicable) every step of the way.
Paycheck Issues/ Verification of Employment
Here at The PSP Group, we believe that communication is the key to any good business relationship. Employees can contact PSP’s Payroll Department directly for any issues concerning you. We are ready to answer any concern you may have whether it relates to taxes taken out or direct deposit availability.
The Payroll department can handle proof of employment requests that are sometimes needed for when an employee applies for loans, such as mortgages, a new car or an apartment. Lenders should be directed to PSP for these requests.
Unemployment
We deal with many different state authorities including Unemployment offices. We can handle any questions that the Unemployment Office may have concerning the status of employees who leave or are discharged from their jobs.
Child Support
In the event that child support or other deductions need to be taken from an employee’s check, PSP's Payroll Department can handle all deductions taken from an employee’s paycheck and will answer any questions or issues an employee may have in this regard.
Benefits
If the company provides health/dental/vision insurance, PSP handles:

Statutory Disability Benefits
Any employee who is working or has worked for at least four consecutive weeks is eligible for disability benefits. To file a disability claim, an employee may contact PSP's HR Department to obtain the application and instructions, and for any questions regarding his or her claim.
Procedural/Company Policy Questions
We all know that working comes with stress and sometimes company politics. If at any time an employee is unsure of what their company’s internal policy is with regard to any work related situations, he or she is encouraged to contact PSP’s HR Department if not comfortable speaking with the immediate supervisor/manager. PSP makes sure that questions and problems are investigated. We advise employees regarding issues such as sexual harassment in the workplace, discrimination, FMLA (Family Medical Leave ACT),COBRA (Consolidated Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act of 1985), etc.
